Cook up all of the bacon and drain, reserve 1/8 cup the drippings in a large pan.

Add to the drippings in the following order:

Garlic powder and 1/3 of the green onions, saute for about 5 minutes.

Add can of refried beans and picante sauce and stir until thoroughly mixed.

Bring to a slow bubble and add a small handful of each kind of cheese and about 1/3 of the bacon (crumbled).

Cook and stir until the cheese is melted.

Once cheese has melted, transfer to an oven-safe casserole dish.

Layer the top of the dip in the following order:

3/4 of remaining cheeses, green onions, bacon (crumbled) and remaining cheese.

Bake at 350u00b0 until cheese melts and sides are bubbling.

Serve with tortilla chips.
