Two Yankees Boiled Peanuts

   Combine all ingredients in a 5-6 qt slow cooker.

   Cook on high for 18 hours or until peanuts are soft.

   For cajun flavored also add: 2 1/2 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp each dried oregano, paprika, cayenne pepper, and black pepper, 1/2 cup hot sauce (we used Texas Pete)
