Ingredients: 2 tsp baking soda; 2 quart water; 2 1/2 lb softshell turtle; 1 tbsp ground black pepper; 1 tsp sage; 1/4 cup flour; 1/4 cup olive oil, extra virgin; 1/4 cup water; 1/4 cup cornstarch; 1 tsp celery salt; 1 tsp salt; 1 tsp Himalayan pink salt coarse grain; 6 large potatoes skin on chopped; 5 large carrots peeled and chopped; 1/4 cup granulated garlic powder; 4 quart water

2 quart water
2 1/2 lb softshell turtle
1 tbsp ground black pepper

1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup olive oil, extra virgin
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 tsp celery salt
1 tsp salt
1 tsp Himalayan pink salt coarse grain
6 large potatoes skin on chopped
5 large carrots peeled and chopped
1/4 cup granulated garlic powder
4 quart water

Take turtle, 2 quarts of water, and baking soda mix well, soak 30 minutes

After 30 minutes drain and rinse the turtle put into pot

After 15 minutes mix flour and oil and add to stew

Pull turtle out take meat off the bone, and add back in discard the bones

Cook 5 minutes , then mix cornstarch and quarter cup water, then let the stew boil 2 minutes, stir constantly it will thicken, then let sit ten minutes.
