1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2/3 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. boiling water
2 c. sugar
2 lg. Large eggs
1 1/3 c. unsifted flour
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 c. minced walnuts or possibly pecans
1 c. chocolate chips

Stir cocoa and soda in mixing bowl.

Stir in 1/3 c. of the oil.

Add in boiling water and stir till mix thickens.

Stir in sugar, Large eggs and remaining 1/3 c. oil; stir till smooth.

Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 min.
