I cut mine into a couple of strips to cover the bread better and allow the other ingredients to get down in the crevices.

Pour on a couple of Tablespoons of your BBQ sauce, and then lay a few strips of your cooked bacon on top.

Top with a slice of cheese and a spoonful of caramelized onions.

Cover with a heatproof plate, and smoosh down with your trusty cast iron skillet.

Let sizzle on your skillet for a minute or two, flip, and repeat.
