Tofu Steak With Ground Meat Sauce

   Cut the mizuna into 6 cm long pieces.

   Cut the tofu into 1.5 cm thick slices, drain off the water very well, and dust both sides of each slice with flour.

   Heat up some oil in a frying pan, and put in the tofu from Step 2.

   When both sides of the tofu slices are golden brown and crispy, take out of the pan.

   Put the ground meat in the frying pan from Step 3, and saute until browned.

   Add the flavoring ingredients - sugar, sake, soy sauce and doubanjiang - and mix.

   Add the mizuna and saute until limp, then add the katakuriko slurry, stirring until the sauce has thickened.

   Arrange the tofu from Step 3 on a plate, and pour over the sauce from Step 6, and it's done.
