Servings: persons

1 lb. ground beef
2 Tbsp. oil
1 medium onion
1 garlic clove
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 can tomato paste
2 cans tomato soup
1 can peeled tomatoes
1/2 box brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
mushrooms (if desired)

Brown ground beef in oil and drain.

Put into a pot and add rest of ingredients.

Simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, stirring often. (I cook mine in a crock-pot.)
