   Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

   In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars.

   Add the eggs and peanut butter.

   Stir well.

   Add the flour and baking soda.

   Mix well.

   Roll the cookie dough into 1-inch balls and put them two inches apart on a cookie sheet.

   Flatten the cookies by making a criss-cross design using a fork, first pressing horizontally, then vertically (or vice-versa).

   Bake the cookies for 10 minutes.

    Cool on the cookie sheet for a few minutes and then transplant the cookies to a plate.

    Optional: If desired, press a Hershey's Kiss on the center of each cookie as soon as they are removed from the oven.
