2 1/2 c. flour

1 c. white raisins
1 c. minced dates
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tbsp. cloves
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. allspice
1 c. buttermilk
1 level teaspoon soda
3 Large eggs
1 c. cooked, unsalted mashed potatoes
