Let it simmer together for around 3 minutes and make sure to stir often. Then add the egg yolk and mix it in briskly then let it simmer for 1 more minute. Take off from heat and beat together for 2 minutes.", "The frosting is supposed to be thick, but not so thick that you can't spread it with a knife over the cake.", "Pour frosting over the cake and make sure it covers all corners of the cake before you pour on a lot of shredded coconut. Lots. It's part of what makes the cake so delicious.", "Suggestion: You can make double the frosting and use it as filling between two pieces of cake."]
