Sweet Mexican Cornbread Casserole Pie

   Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.

   Casserole Mixture:.

   Brown hamburger in frying pan, add Taco mix and about 1/4 bottle of maple syrup.

   Fry until completely cooked.

   Drain off fat.

   In large mixing bowl, combine hamburger mix, corn, peas, & chili.

   Heat in microwave 5 minutes.

   Add 5 slices of cheese and heat in microwave 5 minutes.

   Repeat this process until all slices of cheese are mixed into ingredients well.

    Heat 5 more minutes and place in oven safe large baking dish or medium disposable roasting pan, spreading evenly.

    Make sure you have at least 3/4 to 1 inch of space from the top of the mixture to the top of the baking dish.

    Cornbread Topping:.

    Follow instructions on Corn Bread/Muffin mix, and combine ingredients in medium mixing bowl.

    Add remaining maple syrup to corn bread mixture and stir well.

    Spread corn bread mixture evenly on top of hamburger mixture and place in oven at 400 degrees for approximately 25 minutes or until golden brown.

    Make sure that the corn bread is done completely, take tooth pick and put in center of corn bread.

    If nothing sticks to it, its done.

    Remove and let stand 3 to 5 minutes then serve.
