Sweet Chex Mix – a delicious recipe with Rice, raisins, mixed nuts, sunflower seeds, sugar, light syrup. Easy to follow and perfect for any occasion.

4 c. Rice Chex
4 c. Wheat Chex
1 lb. raisins
12 oz. mixed nuts
6 oz. sunflower seeds
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Karo light syrup
2 sticks plus 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
1 Tbsp. vanilla

Combine the first 5 ingredients in a very large bowl.

Boil sugar, syrup and margarine together for 2 minutes; add vanilla. Pour over Chex mix and mix well.

Spread on kitchen counter.

Add sunflower seeds and mix in.

Allow to dry on counter turning frequently.

Can also dry on cookie sheets in 200u00b0 oven turning frequently for crispier mix.
