2 c. bread crumbs
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. thyme
1/2 c. water
1 lb. hamburger
1 c. sliced onions
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
1/4 c. vinegar
2 Tbsp. water
2 tsp. mustard

Combine crumbs, chopped onion, the seasonings and 1/2 cup water.

Let stand for 5 minutes, then mix lightly into hamburger. Shape into 4 patties.

Brown in small amount of fat (or oil). Cover with sliced onions.

Combine brown sugar, flour, vinegar, 2 tablespoons water and mustard.
