1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. salt

2 Tbsp. shortening
2 onions, sliced
1 clove garlic, diced
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. red wine
1/2 c. water
4 bay leaves

Brown meat on all sides in shortening. Put meat in roasting pan and cover with onions and garlic.
