Super Mario Toad (Kinopio) For Charaben (Decorative Bentos)

   Mix a little ketchup in 1/3 of the rice, and season as you like.

   I add a little sugar and a tiny bit of salt.

   Form into the face of Toad.

   Mix a little salt into the remaining 2/3rds of the rice (you can add a filling if you like, too) and form the head part.

   Squeeze the two rice balls together, and put them in a bento box.

   Carefully peel off the red outer layer of the crabsticks,

   Make the eyes out of nori seaweed.

   The white parts of the eyes are made by cutting out the white part of a crabstick with a straw.

   The inside of the mouth is a half-moon shape cut from the red part of a crabstick.

    Done!

    I squeezed the mushroom parts from the sides to balance out the shape.
