Super Brownies

   In a double boiler over hot water, stirring often, melt butter and chocolate.

   Remove from range and double boiler bottom; reserve.

   In a medium bowl, stir together flour and sugar; add eggs and vanilla and beat until smooth.

   Add reserved chocolate mixture and beat to blend.

   Fold in pecans.

   Turn into a buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

   Bake in a preheated 350u00b0 oven until a cake tester inserted in center comes out clean, about 25 minutes. Loosen edges; cool and cut into squares.
