Ingredients: 2 Tbsp. olive oil; 1 (2 to 2 1/2 lb.) chicken, cut up; 1 lb. beef for stew, 1-inch cubes; 2 large onions, cut into eighths; 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour; 1/2 c. dry white wine; 1 1/2 c. beef stock; 1 Tbsp. red wine vinegar; salt; fresh ground pepper; 1/2 tsp. dried thyme; 1/4 c. jellied cranberry sauce; 4 oz. mushrooms, sliced

1 (2 to 2 1/2 lb.) chicken, cut up
1 lb. beef for stew, 1-inch cubes
2 large onions, cut into eighths
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. dry white wine
1 1/2 c. beef stock
1 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
salt
fresh ground pepper
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1/4 c. jellied cranberry sauce
4 oz. mushrooms, sliced

Heat oil in skillet, add chicken and saute until browned on all sides.

Place chicken in casserole.

Add beef to oil in skillet, saute until brown on all sides.

Add onions to skillet, saute until lightly browned.

Gradually stir in wine, stock and vinegar. Bring to boil, season with salt and pepper.
