Sugar Cookies(Christmas)

   Cream the shortening.

   Add sugar, milk, eggs and vanilla. Then mix flour, salt and baking powder. Add to mixture.

   Chill dough for 1 hour.

   Then roll out dough to 1/8-inch thickness.

   Cut in desired shapes.

   Place on cookie sheet.

   Brush with milk. Sprinkle with sugar or top with nuts, red or green sugar or tiny colored candies, gumdrops, cherries or raisins.

   Bake at 375u00b0 for 15 minutes.
