Strawberry Pie

   Put strawberries in baked pie shell.

   In saucepan, put sugar, white corn syrup, cornstarch, water and salt.

   Cook until thick and clear.

   Remove from heat and cool slightly.

   Add 2 tablespoons strawberry jello and some red food coloring.

   Let cool a little more, then pour over berries and chill.

   Serve topped with whipped cream, if desired.
