Preheat oven to 350 F. Line an 8 x 8 baking dish with foil. Set aside.

In a large bowl sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.

In the large bowl of your electric mixer cream together the sugar and butter. Mix in egg, lemon juice and zest. Mix in the flour mixture. Fold in diced strawberries by hand.

Press dough into the bottom of the prepared pan.

Bake for about 35-45 minutes or until a toothpick is inserted and comes out clean. Remove from oven and let the bars cool before cutting and glazing.

Whisk together the confectioners' sugar and lemon juice. Drizzle over cooled cut bars.
