Prepare the infused tequila:
2
In a glass, add tequila and quartered jalapeno, seeds and all. Let the mixture sit out for at least 6 hours to infuse the tequila. Strain jalapeno out of the tequila before you use it.
3
Prepare the strawberry puree:
4
In a food processor, add strawberries and agave syrup. Blend until thoroughly smooth. You can push it through a fine strainer to remove the seeds if you like, however I like the way it looks with the seeds.
5
For the drink:
6
If you like salt on your glass, rub the edge of your glasses with a lime wedge. I like to rim the glass with a mixture of half salt and half sugar. Add ice to your glasses.
7
Add puree, triple sec, infused tequila and lime juice to a shaker. Add ice to the shaker and shake. Pour the drink into each glass using a bar strainer (or your finger) to strain the ice. Garnish with lime, strawberry or even jalapeno. Enjoy!
