Ingredients: 2 c. sugar; 1/2 c. flour; 3 c. milk; 1 beaten egg; 1/2 to 3/4 stick butter; 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla; strawberries; vanilla wafers; Cool Whip; pecans, chopped

Cook sugar, flour, milk and egg together until thick.

Add butter and vanilla.

Slice strawberries and cover with sugar. Crush vanilla wafers.

Put vanilla wafers in bottom of dish. Cover with pudding.

Add sweetened strawberries on top of pudding. Sprinkle some strawberries on top of pudding.

Sprinkle some more vanilla wafers on top of that.

Also pecans.

Cover with Cool Whip and sprinkle some more vanilla wafer crumbs and pecans.

This is good frozen.
