Preheat the oven to 350u00b0F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and creamy. Beat in egg. Stir in flour. Gather dough into a ball. Turn out onto a sheet of parchment paper. Roll out to 1/8 inch thickness.

Using a 2 1/2 inch round cookie cutter, cut dough into rounds. Using a 1 inch round cookie cutter, cut out a small circle in each of the larger rounds. Re-roll any leftover dough; cut out more rounds. Place rounds on prepared pans. Brush with egg white; sprinkle with sugar sprinkles. Fill hole with crushed candy. Using the blunt end of a wooden skewer, make a hole at the top of each round (to thread with ribbon later).

Bake for 10-12 mins or until candy is slightly melted. Cool completely on baking pans then lift off carefully. Thread ribbon through holes.
