Soak the vermicelli in warm water for about 30 minutes or until they turn soft. Drain and set aside.

Grind the spice paste using a food blender and set aside.

Heat up a wok with 2 tablespoons of oil. Put in the prawns and cook them till they turn pink. Remove them and put them aside. Using (the same oil + additional 4 tablespoons of oil) until it is heated, fry the spice paste until aromatic and the oil separates. Throw in the 50g of dried small shrimps and 1 tablespoon of tauco. Put in the sugar. Mix well. 30sec later, put in the cooked prawns. Mix well. 30sec later, put in the rice vermicilli. Mix everything well. If the mixture gets too dry, put in the 5 ml of water.

Make sure that you mix the rice vermicilli and the paste well.

Serve it with 2 sliced whole limes. Serve the dish immediately.
