Preheat oven to 350u00b0F. Sift the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder into a mixing bowl. Stir in the sugar and the grated chocolate, then add the cinnamon, ginger and cloves.

Next, add the butter, eggs, milk and cream and whisk with a hand blender or in a food processor until smooth.

Grease a 10 inch loaf pan and dust with flour. Pour in the cake batter and bake on bottom rack 50-60 mins, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Remove from oven and allow to cool in the pan on a wire rack.

Break the remaining chocolate into chunks and place in a pan with the coconut oil. Melt slowly over low heat, then remove from heat and allow to cool for about 5 minutes. Spread chocolate mixture over the top of the cake, allow to cool completely, and serve.
