1. Make the cake: Beat together butter and sugar on high for about 30 seconds, until combined. Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time.

2. Stir together the dry ingredients. Then in 3 alternating additions each, add the flour mixture and the milk. (So add a little milk, then a little flour, then a little milk, then a little flour, etc).

3. Pour into a greased jelly roll pan. Now prepare the cream cheese swirl. Beat together the cream cheese, sugar, and egg white until combined. With a spoon or a pastry bag, drizzle the cream cheese around the cake. Then take a knife and swirl it around (not to much though, it'll start to mix in). Then sprinkle with the chocolate chips.

4. Bake in a 350u00b0F oven, for about 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool, slice, and serve.
