Southern Cheese Straws

   Preheat oven to 425u00b0.

   Mix together flour, cheese, salt and cayenne pepper.

   Cut in butter with two forks or pastry blender until mixture looks like cornmeal.

   Add beaten egg and stir. Knead until you can form a ball.

   Place on floured board and roll thin.

   Cut in finger size strips.

   Bake on a lightly greased cookie sheet for 5 to 8 minutes, until lightly browned.
