1 egg
½ cup sour cream
¼ cup honey, warmed
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips or 2 cups milk chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped

Heat oven to 375* and grease cookie sheets.

In a large bowl,combine shortening,brown sugar and granulated sugar.

Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until well blended.

Beat in egg,sour cream,honey and vanilla.

Beat just until blended.

Combine flour,baking powder and salt.

Mix into creamed mixture at low speed until just blended.

Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.

Drop slightly rounded tablespoons of dough 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheet.
