1 c. water
3/4 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 Large eggs, well beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves
2 c. quick oats
