2/3 c. hot water

1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. salt

Mix sugar and molasses.

Sift flour, cream of tartar, spices and salt together, then mix all together. Let mixed dough stand in a cool place for 1 hour.
