Soda Cracker Toffee

   Preheat oven to 375. Line a cookie sheet with the saltine crackers with the salt side facing up. The crackers should be in 5 by 7 rows. There shouldn't be any space left on the sheet. Bring sugar and butter to a boil. Stir constantly for 3 minutes or until the mixture starts to turn a golden brown, caramel color. Immediately pour mixture over top of the crackers and put into the oven for 6 minutes. Let stand for 1 minute. Then pour bag of chocolate chips on top. Smooth chocolate chips evenly over surface. Refrigerate til firm. Break into pieces.
