Snowball Cookie

   Preheat oven to 300F.

   In a bowl, mix together flour, nuts, salt and sugar. Add vanilla extract and then add the butter. Combine everything together with your hands until the mixture looks like a coarse meal.

   Form the dough into tablespoon-sized balls. Place balls onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Leave an inch between the cookies when you place them on the cookie sheet.

   Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes. Then remove them from the oven. When the cookies are still warm but are cool enough to touch, gently roll the cookies in the powdered sugar. Set aside to cool completely. Then dust with powered sugar again.
