Servings: persons

2 pound lean grnd beef
1/4 c. minced onions
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 garlic salt
1/2 c. fine cracker crumbs
1 egg
1/4 c. lowfat milk
2 tbsp. salad oil
1 (1 pound 2 ounce.) bottle smoky type barbeque sauce
1 c. water

Mix together till lightly blended, the grnd beef, onions, salt, pepper, garlic salt, cracker crumbs, egg and lowfat milk.

Shape into meat balls the size of walnuts.

Brown on all sides in warm salad oil.

In large pan, mix together till blended, the barbeque sauce and water.

Place browned meat balls in sauce and simmer for 15 min.

Pour into chafing dish and serve with small picks.

May toast top of bread cut into various shapes and place meat balls on top of bread shapes for variation.
