¼ cup all-purpose flour, plus
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk, divided
2 eggs, lightly beaten
6 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
2 ears fresh corn, shucked, kernels cut from cob and divided
⅔ cup chopped smoked ham
½ cup finely chopped fresh chives
1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon sugar
¼ teaspoon black pepper
