1
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F
-
2
Using a steak knife poke tons of tiny little holes into each tortilla, spray both sides of each tortilla with cooking spray or spray olive oil.
-
3
Place each tortilla on a foil lined baking sheet being careful not to overlap too much.
-
4
(You may have to do these in a few batches.)
-
5
Bake the tortillas for about 6 minutes, flip them and then bake about 2 more minutes.
-
6
Watch and flip as they turn a nice golden brown.
-
7
When done remove the pan from the oven and cool the tortillas on a wire rack.
-
8
Leave the oven at 425 degrees F
-
9
Meanwhile, in a skillet over medium heat brown the turkey meat.
-
10
Once the meat is browned add taco seasoning and water.
-
11
Let the mixture simmer until cooked through.
-
12
Set aside.
-
13
Put the beans into a microwave safe bowl and heat them for about 60 seconds.
-
14
They just need to be warmed.
-
15
Spread some of the warmed beans onto a baked tortilla.
-
16
Top with seasoned taco meat.
-
17
Place another tortilla on top of the meat.
-
18
Spoon about 3 tablespoons of the restaurant sauce evenly onto the top of the tortilla.
-
19
Top with cheese.
-
20
Put the tortilla onto a baking sheet.
-
21
Repeat the steps for the remaining ingredients.
-
22
Bake each pizza for about 3-5 minutes or until cheese has melted.
-
23
You could also put them under the broiler but if you do, you should watch them like a hawk.
-
24
Remove from oven once cheese is melty and oozy.
-
25
Let them cool slightly, top with your favorite toppings such as sour cream, guacamole, salsa etc.
