1 tablespoon canola oil, divided
2 apples, Braeburn, Fuji, Gala, thinly sliced

¾ cup apple cider
1 cup fresh cranberries (thawed) or 1 cup frozen cranberries (thawed)
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
