Sirloin Steak With Caramelized Onions

   Heat the olive oil in a large skillet on high heat and saute the onion until golden, approximately 5 minutes. Remove the onion and set aside.

   Salt the steak on both sides and place into the hot skillet. Cook for 6 minutes on each side for medium and 4 minutes more for well done. Remove from the skillet and let rest for 5 minutes before cutting into thick slices.

   Return the onions to the skillet, add the water, Worcestershire sauce, and sugar. Cook until the liquids evaporate.

   Serve the sliced steak with the onions on the side.
