Simple Lace Cookies

   Pre heat oven to 325 degress

   In a heavy sauce pan bring butter, corn syrop and brown sugar to a boil.

   Remove from heat and add flour and almonds.

   Mix well to form a smooth dough.

   Drop 1 inch balls with a small spoon onto a parchment lined cookie sheet 6 inches apart.

   Cook until golden brown 5-7 minutes.

   ***before the cookies cool completly drape them over a rolling pin to form tubes. Great with Ice cream.***
