Clean and devain shrimp leaving the tails on. Mix italian dressing,garlic,old bay seasoning, salt and pepper together for marinade. Place shrimp in plastic bowl or bag with marinade and refrigerate for at least four hours. Slice the peppers and onion into slivers that are 2 1/2 to 3 inches long by approximately 1/8 th inch wide. Microwave the bacon on high for 60 to 90 seconds to remove some of the fat and to partially cook. Cut the bacon slices in half. When ready to prepare place a slice of each pepper and onion into the slit back of the shrimp where it was devained. wrap a piece of bacon around the shrimp and secure with a toothpick. Place the left over marinade into a sauce pan and simmer until reduced by about 1/3. Place shrimp on hot grill for approximately 3 to 4 minutes on each side while basting with the cooked marinade frequently.
