Brown the ground sirloin in frying pan, add garlic powder while cooking.The grease should cook off by the time it is browned. If needed you would> Drain any fat left in the pan. Add the can of French Onion soup to the meat and cover and simmer for five minutes. Pour the meat mixture into a glass casserole 13x9x2.

At the same time, Cook carrots in boiling water till soft and then drain. Then mash and spread over the top of the meat.

Microwave the mashed potatoes as package directs and then spread over the carrot mixture.

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Place the casserole into the oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the top of the potatoes are a little browned around the edges. Serve
