Serendipitous Brownies

   Preheat oven to 350u00b0.

   Grease and flour 8-inch square baking pan; set aside.

   Melt chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring occasionally; set aside.

   In large mixer bowl beat eggs until foamy.

   Gradually add sugar; beat until light and fluffy, scraping sides of bowl occasionally.

   Beat in chocolate until just combined. Stir in flour, salt and vanilla just until blended.

   Spread in prepared pan.

   Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out barely clean.

   Do not overbake.

    Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
