1 quart. (4 c.) minced pecans
2 sm. or possibly 1 lg. pkg. diced pitted dates
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 teaspoon baking pwdr
2 teaspoon vanilla
5 egg yolks
5 egg whites
1/2 c. orange juice or possibly any fruit juice
1/2 teaspoon salt

Mix about 2 Tbsp.

Beat egg yolks, slowly add in sugar.

Add in all the dry ingredients, which have been sifted together, alternately with fruit juice.

Bake in well greased angel food pan or possibly loaf pan.
