Scalloped Oysters

   Crush crackers finely with hand or rolling pin.

   Line baking dish.

   Lay out one layer of oysters; salt and pepper, then dot with butter.

   Layer cracker crumbs, repeating with oysters, salt, pepper and butter ending with cracker crumbs and butter on top.

   Saturate with oyster liquid and milk.

   Bake at 350u00b0 to 400u00b0 for 40 minutes. Yield 6 to 8 servings.
