Sausage-Stuffed Manicotti

   Preheat oven to 350.

   Cook pasta according to package directions; drain well.

   Place pasta in a single layer on a sheet of greased foil.

   Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until brown; drain off fat.

   In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and basil; stir in cooked sausage; taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

   Using a small spoon, fill pasta with sausage mixture.

   Arrange filled pasta in an ungreased 3-quart rectangular baking dish.

   Pour marinara sauce over pasta; sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.

   Bake, covered, for 20 minutes.

    Bake, uncovered, about 10 minutes more or until mixture is heated through and cheese is melted.
