Sausage, Spinach and Cheese Stuffed Peppers

   Heat oven to 400 degrees F.

   Cut peppers lengthwise in half; remove and discard ribs and seeds.

   Place peppers, cut sides up, in 13x9-inch baking dish.

   Remove casings from sausage, if necessary; crumble sausage into large skillet.

   Add onions and garlic; cook on medium heat until sausage is evenly browned, stirring frequently.

   Add spinach; cook and stir 2 min.

   or until heated through.

   Remove from heat.

   Stir in Parmesan.

    Spoon sausage mixture into pepper halves; top with mozzarella.

    Add water to baking dish; cover.

    Bake 40 to 45 min.

    or until peppers are crisp-tender and filling is heated through, uncovering for the last 10 min.
