Mix the sugar with yeast in a small bowl. When it reaches the consistency of sour cream, add 2-3 Tbsp. of warm milk, a little flour, mix well and cover with a cloth, leave it until it rises. Take a larger bowl and place the warm milk, salt and dough (after it rises). Add flour and knead, adding a little oil as you knead. Knead until bubbly. Cover with towel and leave in warm place to rise up. After dough has doubled in size, place in greased baking pan, shape dough into a log. Allow dough to rise again after handling it. Preheat oven to 250F while dough rises. Bake at 250F until the dough starts to rise in pan, after it rises increase heat to 350F and bake to a light golden brown on top.
