Rhubarb Cake

   Take rhubarb and 1/2 cup sugar and let set until sugar is completely dissolved.

   Beat until creamy 1 1/2 cups sugar, Crisco and egg.

   Add remaining ingredients.

   Fold in rhubarb mixture and bake at 350u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

   Use tester to make sure cake is done.
