2 cups boiling water
⅔ cup unsalted butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs

3 cups sifted flour

Pour the hot water over the chocolate in a bowl (let sit, DO NOT STIR).

Pour the melted chocolate into the butter, sugar, egg, vanilla mixture and beat well.

Bake in a buttered and floured tube pan at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes.
