1 c. oil
3 c. flour
1 c. dates ,chopped
1 c. walnuts
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg

Put apples in bowl.

Mix with sugar and let set for 10 minutes.

Add oil and sugar mixture to eggs.

Sift dry ingredients and add to apple mixture.

Pour into 8 x 12-inch pan, tube pan or 2 large loaf pans, greased and floured.
