I worked at a spiffy pizza shoppe for 3 and a half years so I have a few tips for you:
-
2
If you like a lot of toppings, put on a lot of toppings.
-
3
Always place your toppings all the way to the edge of your dough if you are doing a thin crust pizza, with no edging.
-
4
If you have the standard crust on your pizza, make sure your toppings are touching the crust.
-
5
(As the pizza cooks the toppings move toward the center.)
-
6
There should be some of every topping, in every bite!
-
7
Yum!
-
8
Make it with love, it always turns out better.
-
9
Always go from flattest topping, ending with the fattest topping.
-
10
1.
-
11
Make your dough.
-
12
Place on your pizza pan or stone and set aside.
-
13
(If using premade dough have it thawed and ready for use).
-
14
2.
-
15
Cook your new potatoes in boiling water, with 2 Tablespoons of salt.
-
16
When done, they should be just barely fork tender (we do not want soft potatoes here!
-
17
They will still cook while in the oven.)
-
18
Slice them.
-
19
Set aside.
-
20
** With all meats, cook as much or as little of the 1/2 pound allotment as you would like.
-
21
If you love meat, by all means, pack it on!
-

-
24
Cook your bacon until crispy.
-
25
Break it up into pieces.
-
26
Set aside to drain grease.
-
27
4.
-
28
Cook your sausage until well browned, breaking into chunks or pieces as you cook.
-
29
Set aside to drain grease.
-
30
5.
-
31
Cook your ground beef until well browned, then drain.
-
32
Set aside.
-
33
5- 1/2.
-
34
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
-
35
6.
-
36
Put a nice layer of BBQ sauce on the dough.
-
37
You do not have to use the entire bottle.
-
38
How saucy do you like your pizza?
-
39
7.
-
40
Place Canadian bacon on.
-
41
Work from the outside in... overlapping is allowed.
-
42
8.
-
43
Place potatoes on top of the Canadian bacon.
-
44
9.
-
45
Fill in with ground beef.
-
46
10.
-
47
Sprinkle with bacon.
-
48
11.
-
49
Sprinkle with sausage.
-
50
(Remember, some of every topping in each bite!)
-
51
12.
-
52
THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP: The cheese!
-
53
Take your grated jack cheese and sprinkle enough cheese on so that the pizza is covered, but you can still see some of the toppings through the cheese.
-
54
Move in with your mozzarella you should put on significantly less mozzarella cheese.
-
55
13.
-
56
Sprinkle Cholula hot sauce on top of the cheese if you want a kick.
-
57
14 Pop the pizza in the pre-heated oven at 400 degrees F. Bake for 10- 15 minutes.
-
58
It all really depends on your oven.
-
59
If the dough is browning and the cheese is melted then, you are good to go!
-
60
Enjoy!
